Learn the inside tricks to standing out at an audition: finding the best song, 16-bar cuts, making bold choices, communicating with the accompanist, resumes, song interpretation, taking control of the audition room, and most importantly…gaining the confidence needed to GET CAST!

Brett Schrier is one of New York's most reputable vocal coach/music directors. His students are featured in Broadway and touring companies of Wicked, School Of Rock, Hamilton, Les Miserables, The Book of Mormon, The Lion King, Kinky Boots, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, Chicago & Come From Away. His music directing and conducting credits include Hairspray (National Tour), 42nd Street (National Tour), Chuggington (Disney Channel), Scooby-Doo (Warner Bros), and Cats (Royal Caribbean).  Brett is Vocal Director for Royal Caribbean International and spends countless hours “behind the casting table."

 

Students will have one-on-one time to work a short song (16 or 32-bars) of choice for feedback. Additional music for a group audition song will be provided.
